  1. To install MathReader for your PC running Windows, follow these steps:
  2.  
  3.  1. Download MathReader.
  4.  2. Run MATHRDR.EXE with a -d flag, in the directory where you want MathReader
  5.    to be:
  6.  
  7.    MATHRDR -d
  8.  
  9.    This will create a subdirectory called MATHREAD, that contains all the files
  10.    necessary to run MathReader.
  11.  3. Move the file MATHREAD.INI, located in the MATHREAD directory, to your
  12.    Windows directory.
  13.  4. Move the file CTL3D.DLL, also located in the MATHREAD directory, to the
  14.    SYSTEM subdirectory of your Windows directory.
  15.  5. Open the notebook READ1ST.MA, also located in the MATHREAD directory, with
  16.    MathReader. This notebook provides instructions on using MathReader.
  17.  6. Optional: Configure your browser to automatically launch MathReader when you
  18.    download a Mathematica notebook.
  19.  7. Now you can view a sample notebook with MathReader.
